Zigen Projects 滋根项目介绍
“滋根基金會”促進以人爲中心，可持續的發展。是美國的501(C)3 非營利性民間團體，1988 年成
立，姐妹組織“中國滋根鄉村教育與發展促進會” （簡稱中國滋根）是在中國注冊的非營利性社會團
體。雙方合作支持中國內地的貧困民衆自力更生， 改善生活，促進家鄉可持續發展。
滋根項目主要有三類﹕
1) 學校教育； 2) 成人教育； 3) 農村社區發展（基本衛生、因地制宜合乎環保的技術、小型經濟文化發展） 。
滋根的特點﹕
1) 幫助最貧困的民衆，滿足人的發展的最基本需要；
2) 倡導貧困民衆對發展的參與，注重基層的主動性，著眼於提高能力，包括項目的建議、設計、執行、監督和評估；
3) 項目金額小（200 — 10,000 美元），重實效，注重項目的示範及持續性。
1988 年以來，滋根在中國11 個省區的貧困農村完成了許多成效顯著的項目。到2008 年，已發出80,000 人次的助學金。滋根的經費主要來自美國、香港和臺灣的私人捐款，歡迎朋友們參與滋根的工作。
