感谢滋根资助我三年
我在...县三中上学，念九年级。二妹也在...县三中上学，念七年级。村里没有学校了，三妹和四妹都在..村小学上学，妈妈也过去给她们做饭，五妹跟着。我和二妹住校，在学校灶上吃饭。
我的爸爸由于得了神经病，不幸跌进水井中，去世了。我刚上初一的时候，我的五妹有一次在家里玩耍，不幸跌倒了，后来就一直发高烧，医生看了才知道是脑积水，这次又使我家受到重大打击，我的妈妈就让我回家照顾妹妹。
过了一个星期，我的班主任给我妈妈打电话，说有人要资助我上学。第一次我妈妈还不相信，刘老师又打了第二次和第三次，我妈妈才把我送到学校，并且见到了滋根刘老师。滋根刘老师说资助我五百，并且说今后还会资助，我妈妈就把我留在了学校。去年刘老师到学校发放助学金，我妈妈步行从家里赶过来，刘老师亲手把四百元交到我妈妈的手里。
今年我初三了。开学的时候，刘老师在街上见到我，知道我妹妹也上初中了，就问了我一些问题。由于这几年家中连年枣烂，家中收入不多，家中全靠向亲友们借钱。刘老师了解了这个情况，就说滋根今年会资助我一千元，我真的很感激。
如今滋根资助我三年了。没有滋根的资助，我就不能回到学校；没有滋根的资助，我就不能继续在学校学习。今年滋根又给我们住校生每天发放一颗鸡蛋，同学们都很感谢滋根。

尊敬的叔叔阿姨们：
您们好！我是来自...县中学...的寇xx。我出生在...农民家庭，曾经我也有一个很幸福、温馨、完整的家。然而恶运之神却降临到了我的身边，他想要毁掉我的幸福。多年前爸爸出了车祸而变成残疾，后来又无情的带走了我的妈妈。在以后的日子里，家不再像以前一样温馨，父亲的脸也一天比一天阴沉，皱纹也一天比一天多，一天比一天深。
想起自己的家庭情况，我每天都很痛苦。在同学们面前，我是班长，可是我特别担心他们知道我的出身。家庭的困难让我睡不着觉，学习成绩下降了。但是我知道，我不能就这样半途而废，我必须支撑下去，必须跌倒了也要站起来，必须坚强的笑着面对以后的生活。一次次的流泪，又一次次的擦干眼泪，终于摆正了自己的位置，确立了自己的目标与方向。
感谢您们爱心人士默默无闻的支持，也感谢老师们的帮助，生活中的希望之火被重新点燃，我相信一切都会变好。我相信只要我肯努力，肯用心，我的学习成绩肯定会提高的。我会主动向老师和同学们请教自己不懂的问题，因为我要朝着我的目标与方向前行，我必须尽自己之所能达到自己的目标，我要求自己必须成功。
现在到了高三，虽然学习很紧张，我还是加入了学校体育队。每天早上和晚上我都会和其他队员们一起跑步，让自己的身体锻炼好一些，让自己的精力更充沛，让自己的心里更放松。今年的田径运动会，我获得的女子立定跳远第一名，获得了女子4×100米接力赛冠军，这都更加坚定我的信心。
我的理想是明年考上一所好大学，毕业后找一份好工作，等挣够足够多的钱，办一所残疾人学校。不论是聋哑儿童，还是其他身体残疾的儿童，都让他们过上正常孩子的生活，让他们接受教育。我会尽自己的努力，满足每个残疾孩子的要求，并帮助他们完成自己的心愿。
现在，我得到了爱。将来，我会尽自己的能力，将这份爱播洒到每个角落，让更多的人体验被爱，懂得去爱。

记十月十五日的植树
山西省石楼县韩家山中心校教鹏焉小学六年级学生 高瑞梅
十月十五日早上，贺校长召开了植树活动会。在会上，贺校长介绍了中国滋根支持我们绿化校园、开展植树活动，并要求四、五、六三个年级的学生和老师参加。随后，班主任薛老师把我们班分成五人一组，规定每组上午挖四个树坑，下午栽好四株柏树。
早饭后，同学们有的拿着镢头、有的拿着铁锹向学校走来。按照学校规划，我们班栽大树，先进行挖坑工作，用一条绳确定一条直线，株距四米，挖见方九十公分的土坑。顿时，紧张的劳动开始了，同学们合力挖土，人人争先恐后，个个干得满头大汗。用两个小时的时间，完成了挖坑任务。
下午三点半，滋根的刘老师和教育局的领导赶来，为我们的植树增添了气氛。接着，两车树苗拉来了。村主任曹应年和几个村民拿着绳子也过来帮忙。看哪，他和刘老师、郭老师、武老师抬着一株高大的树苗，小心翼翼地不伤根部、保留母土，把它稳稳地放入事先挖好的坑内。滋根刘老师、教育局领导、贺校长等和我们组的师生一同飞舞着铁锹，往坑里填土。那一锹锹松软的黄土，渐渐地堆起了、填满了，我们小心地踩实。贺校长非常认真，亲自指挥把两株两米高的树苗摆正。在劳动的过程中，班主任薛老师给我们拍了很多照片，同学们都很高兴。我们全体栽树的那颗心、那份情，也牢牢地埋在了树坑里，深深地渗入到了柏树的枝叶中。
一排排柏树栽上了，我们站在旁边欣赏。多么整齐的树！多么刚健挺拔的身姿！愿你们沐浴着爱的阳光，像我们一样成长成才；愿你们成为一座避暑凉亭，为我们解热；愿你们四季枝叶翠绿，为我们学校增添无限的美。
经过一个半小时的努力，四十二株树苗栽好了。贺校长给我们召开了总结会，教育我们要爱护一草一木，在美好的校园里学好知识，像树苗一样茁壮成长。滋根刘老师介绍了植树的意义，告诫我们树种好了还要好好的保护它。随后，滋根刘老师和教育局领导给我们植树的同学们发放了纪念品：一只2B铅笔，一个日记本，一个图画本。我们手捧着奖品，心里涌起万分的兴奋，在一阵阵热烈的掌声中，我们的植树活动结束了。
放学了，我们拿着劳动工具和奖品回家。刚走出大门回头看，一排排柏树正迎风向我点头，好像在说：“只有你们辛勤劳动，才有我扎根在你们的校园里，美化你们的校园。”这时我的心里感到非常的舒畅。
A Tree Planting Story

On the morning of October 15th, Principal He held a meeting about the tree planting activity. During the meeting, Principal He told us that Zigen China is supporting us to plant trees to make our campus greener. He asked students and teachers from fourth, fifth, and sixth grades to participate in this activity. Afterwards, my homeroom teacher Xue divided us into 5-person groups and assigned each group to dig four holes in the morning and plant four cypress trees in the afternoon.
After breakfast, we brought hoes and shovels to school. Following the school’s instructions, our class would plant big trees and needed to dig holes first. We used a rope to make a straight line, measured the four meter distance between trees, and dug 90 cm x 90 cm holes. Once we started work, everyone worked very hard and tried to do his or her best. We only spent two hours on digging all the holes.
Teacher Liu from Zigen and an official from a local Education Bureau came at about 3:30 in the afternoon to give us support. Soon, two trucks came with tree saplings. A village official Mr. Chao and a few young villagers also came to help. They and our teachers carefully removed the tree saplings from the trucks, avoided damaging the roots, and preserved the original dirt around them. They put the tree seedlings into the holes that we dug that morning. Then teacher Liu from Zigen, our principal He, and all of us shoveled dirt to fill the holes. The soft yellow dirt soon covered the holes and formed little heaps around trees. We made sure the dirt around the trees was firm. Principal He worked so diligently. He directed people to straighten two trees we planted. Teacher Xue took a lot of photos of us while we were working, and we were so happy about it.
Trees were planted line by line! We stood there looking at the young trees. They are standing there strongly in straight lines. We hope these young trees will grow quickly under the love of the sunshine, like us, growing big, tall, and strong! We hope they will be healthy with a lot of green leaves give people shade in the summer, and make our campus more beautiful.
After one and a half hour’s hard work, we finished planting all forty-two trees. Our principal held a meeting to encourage us to protect the environment, study hard, and grow stronger like these trees. Teacher Liu from Zigen summarized the meanings behind the tree planting activity and told us that it is also important to protect these trees. Teacher Liu and the local Education Bureau official also presented us with some awards for participating in this activity: one 2B pencil, one diary, and one drawing pad for each of us. We were so excited to receive these awards. We clapped our hands to thank them.
When school was out, we collected our tools and headed back home. When we turned our heads back to look at the campus, we saw that the young trees were nodding their heads in the wind. They seemed to say,“You have worked hard, so I can live on your campus to grow and make your campus more beautiful.” I felt so happy and satisfied in my heart!
